Today is a day of scheduled release of Vizwoz, virtual world aimed at children 11-14. It has 2.5D flash-based UI and have business model based on premium features. It already was in beta for some time and yesterday, Kzero had a chance to visit it and ask some questions.

Looks like the world creators haven’t anything “new” in mind but they claim, that beta-testing was very successful.

Also, they say that:

It is also the first virtual community to have its own online virtual police force – the VizCops! The moderation process is extremely advanced, provided by key word screening, artificial intelligence and human moderation. Enforcement is either automatic (3 strikes and out), or by the VizCops – the online VizWoz police force who patrol the community and will be available at any time to offer immediate assistance.
